Mission and Aims
Our mission is to let the interests of European myeloma patients be represented by patients themselves, that is by representatives who are also patients. This way, MM patients are given an immediate voice at European institutions and in European health politics.
Our aims are:
- to ensure accessibility to treatments and medications
- to keep patients informed about the newest developments, treatment options, and trials on multiple myeloma
- to stimulate and support research into new methods of treatment and medication
- to get orphan drug status or new drug approval for multiple myeloma
- to represent MM patients at European health authorities, in order to give our fellow patients support and help them to get the best possible care
- to include as many MM patient support groups into EMP as possible in order to become the encompassing European voice for MM patients, since our motto is
